10 July 2024The research on monomaterial blisters, which has been ongoing in the last 20 years, aims at making their recycling easier, as usually blisters with pills or capsules have a layerof aluminium and one of PVC that create problems in the recycling process.
CAM thermo-forming machines produced the first monomaterial blisters more than 20 years ago and today they manufacture a wide range of blisters in materials such as PET-PET, PP-PP, PPCOCPP-PP and PE-PE, without using aluminium.
Blisters completely made of recyclable polimer eliminate the costs of material selection, reduce the amount of scrap and minimize environmental impact. These materials can be easily used on packaging lines today.
Monomaterial blisters manufactured on CAM thermoforming machines guarantee the utmost protection of the product, as well as its best preservation from the factory to the retail and, like “traditional” blisters, offer a wide range of possible forms and dimensions, adapting to the specific needs of each product, guaranteeing the aesthetic quality of their packaging.
Monomaterial blisters manufactured on CAM thermoforming machines comply with the pharmaceutical standards and with the norms in terms of safety and hygene, as well as consumer protection.
As a result, this grants the possibility to link your brand to an important commitment to sustainability, allowing consumers to be aware and choose alternatives to products in traditional blisters.
